Starting prices for straightforward product photography

Starting prices are useful for early planning, but the final estimate follows the actual product list and shot requirements. Preparation, styling, product complexity, retouching, output, revisions, logistics, and schedule can change the time required.

Specialty starting rate for reflective, metallic, or high-gloss products that need longer setup and cleanup.

Add-on fees apply on top of the approved image or spin rate when that upgrade is included in the estimate. Specialty rates replace the straightforward starting price for products that need that treatment. Availability depends on product fit and studio schedule.

Items that require written scope

The following are not assumed to be included unless they appear in the estimate: advanced compositing, raw files, layered working files, models or talent, location rental, extensive prop purchases, product assembly or repair, complex label replacement, major shape changes, third-party viewer licenses, custom website development, expedited production, or shipping costs.

Estimate, booking, and payment

The proposal identifies the project scope, schedule, revision allowance, payment timing, tax treatment, cancellation terms, delivery conditions, and product return plan. A starting price on this page does not reserve production time. When Lenso invoicing is enabled, payment is completed on a Stripe-hosted invoice page.

What to confirm before production

What information do you need for an estimate?

Start with the product or SKU list, variants, quantities, and the final views required for each item. Include the intended sales channels, aspect ratios, file dimensions, references, product dimensions and weight, preparation needs, deadline, shipping plan, and any special handling or retouching. The more complete the brief is, the more accurate the estimate can be.

What retouching is included?

Standard retouching generally covers routine dust and lint cleanup, minor surface cleanup, color balancing, crop, and the background treatment described in the estimate. Advanced compositing, major product reconstruction, label replacement, extensive reflection work, shape changes, heavy wrinkle repair, added or removed parts, and new creative directions are additional scope unless they are specifically listed in the proposal.

How do proofs and revisions work?

Proofs are shared through Lenso when enabled for the project. The client reviews the images, leaves asset-specific comments, and submits consolidated feedback. The number of revision rounds and the difference between a correction, revision, and reshoot are defined in the proposal. A changed shot list, new angle, new product condition, or new creative direction may require a revised estimate.

How do invoices and payments work?

Payment timing, deposits, due dates, cancellation terms, and refunds are stated in the proposal and invoice. When Lenso invoicing is enabled, the payment link opens a Stripe-hosted invoice page. Lenso does not store card details or hold client funds. Payment methods depend on the studio's Stripe settings.
