Sepideh Maleki

Photographer and studio owner

I'm Sepideh Maleki, the photographer behind Coconut Product Photography. I started the studio in 2014 to help businesses present their products clearly online. I enjoy the part of the job that happens before the shutter clicks: understanding what an image needs to communicate, preparing each item, and building a repeatable look across a complete product line.

Our story

Coconut Product Photography began in 2014 with a simple focus: make it easier for businesses to get dependable product images without building an in-house studio. Early projects centered on white-background catalog photography, and the work expanded into apparel, Amazon listing sets, 360 spins, and styled lifestyle scenes.

The studio is based in Lynnwood, Washington. Local clients can arrange a drop-off, while clients elsewhere in the United States can ship products to the studio. Each project starts with a product list and shot plan so that preparation, angles, crops, retouching, naming, and delivery requirements are clear before production begins.

Sepideh handles the photography with close attention to surface condition, label alignment, color, scale, and the consistency of the full set. The goal is not to make every product look the same. It is to create a visual system that feels intentional across the places where the brand sells.

Proofs and feedback can be organized through Lenso, which keeps the brief, comments, approvals, and final files with the project. That gives both the client and the studio a clear record of what was requested and what was approved.

Studio approach

The details are planned as a system

Start with the sales channel

The crop and shot list should match where the images will appear, whether that is a product detail page, an Amazon listing, a line sheet, an ad, or a social campaign.

Build consistency across SKUs

Camera angle, product scale, background, shadow, color, and naming are coordinated so a group of images reads as one catalog.

Review against the brief

Proofs are evaluated against the agreed shot list and references, which makes feedback more specific and reduces avoidable revision loops.

Working with the studio

Based in Lynnwood and set up for nationwide projects

A public street address is not listed because product drop-offs are arranged by appointment. Clients outside the area can ship products after the scope and logistics are confirmed. Email sepideh@coconutstudiowa.com or call (425) 245-4645 with a general question, or use Start a Project when you are ready to request an estimate.

  • We used Coconut Product Photography for some flatlays and angle shots for a streetwear brand we were launching and were very impressed with the results! Sepideh did an awesome job at achieving our vision by studying some of the examples we sent her and everything came out exactly as we envisioned! She sent us photos along the way so that we could provide feedback and got everything done in a very timely manner. She was very friendly and easy to work with throughout the whole process and we look forward to using her again in the future!
